Vibration Spot Check

Keep a short motion observation tied to an equipment code and operating state. One entry per spot check helps preserve the context of a baseline or changed reading.

Make it your own

On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.

  1. Start from the template

In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Vibration Spot Check, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Equipment Vibration Spot Checks.

  2. Capture your first entry

Enter the equipment code and location, then choose the operating state. Record available motion or instrument readings and describe the device placement in Notes.

  3. Review and keep it useful

Compare readings made with the same mounting, device, and operating state. Use the observation category to flag a changed reading for a suitable diagnostic check.
