Maintenance

Use the Maintenance template to record completed work on an identifiable piece of equipment. One entry per service keeps its type, cost, technician, and next service date together.

Make it your own

On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.

  1. Start from the template

In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Maintenance, or browse Work. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Equipment Maintenance.

  2. Capture your first entry

Scan or enter the equipment code and choose a service type. Record the technician, cost, next service date, and notes describing the completed work.

  3. Review and keep it useful

Search the equipment code to review its service history. Compare motion readings only when the recording method and operating conditions are comparable.
