Noise Spot Check

Make it your own

On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.

  1. Start from the template

In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Noise Spot Check, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Indicative Noise Spot Checks.

  2. Capture your first entry

Select the location, name the source, and choose its operating state. Record the indicated sound reading, observation category, and the position and method in Notes.

  3. Review and keep it useful

Compare only checks made with a similar device, placement, and operating state. Use an appropriate sound instrument when you need a calibrated measurement.
