Trail Conditions

Record a condition affecting a named trail segment. One entry per issue helps maintainers locate the observation and understand its priority.

Make it your own

On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.

  1. Start from the template

In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Trail Conditions, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Trail Condition Reports.

  2. Capture your first entry

Name the trail or segment, choose condition, issue type, and priority, then select the location. Add an observation heading, photo, and a clear description.

  3. Review and keep it useful

Review entries by trail name and read location markers with the notes. Keep the observation’s date and context in mind when sharing a condition report.
