DATTLE / Field collection
Space Measurement
Keep a dimension connected to the room and reference points it describes. One entry per measurement makes it easier to tell a room width from a clearance or depth.
Make it your own
On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.
Start from the template
In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Space Measurement, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Field Space Measurements.
Capture your first entry
Name the site or room and select the measurement type. Enter dimensions with their units, describe both reference points, and add a photo when it clarifies the measurement.
Review and keep it useful
Search the room to compare measurements. Check reference points and units before using a value in a layout or sharing it with someone else.
