Meter Reading
Record a meter’s displayed value with its identity and reading date. One entry per reading preserves a sequence you can review later.
Make it your own
On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.
Start from the template
In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Meter Reading, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Utility Meter Readings.
Capture your first entry
Enter the reading date, scan or enter the meter code, and select the utility. Copy the display value, choose a condition, and photograph the display if useful.
Review and keep it useful
Search a meter code to compare dated readings. Check units, meter changes, and display context before calculating a difference outside the log.
