Equipment Checkout
Record each checkout, transfer, or return of shared equipment. One entry per transaction preserves who received the item and the condition and accessories recorded at that moment.
Make it your own
On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.
Start from the template
In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Equipment Checkout, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Field Equipment Checkout.
Capture your first entry
Enter the equipment code and assigned person or team, then choose the transaction and condition. Select included accessories, add the due or return date, and note exceptions.
Review and keep it useful
Search the equipment code to read transactions in order. Confirm the latest transaction and notes before treating an earlier assignee as the current holder.

These are the starting fields and choices in this template. You can review and adjust the setup before saving your Dattle.

Sensor capture depends on the device and permissions. On the web, use Enter manually for sensor values. Keep the reading’s unit and measurement context with the record.
