Catalog a hobby collection
Whether you collect records, models, books, or craft tools, a useful catalog helps you find an item and remember what makes it distinct. Start with one record per object and a simple identifier you can also put on its storage box.
Make it your own
On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Build manually. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.
Choose a naming scheme
Create a Dattle called My collection with the fields below. An Item ID stays useful even when you rename the item or move it.
Add one item at a time
Choose Add data, enter its identifier and details, and add a photo if useful. Keep condition notes specific rather than using an unexplained score.
Find it and keep it current
Search by item name or identifier. When you move an object, update its storage location in the existing record. Use a separate loan log if you need a history of lending.
