Damage Assessment

Record visible damage, access context, and follow-up in one place. One entry per affected area makes the scope of the observation easier to review.

Make it your own

On the web, sign in and choose New Dattle → Template. Web Dattles use Shared access; you can start with just yourself and invite people later. For a Private Dattle stored on your device, use the mobile app.

Open Dattle

After signing in, search for Damage Assessment under New Dattle → Template. You can leave the invite list empty while you get started.

  1. Start from the template

In New Dattle, choose Template and search for Damage Assessment, or browse Field collection. Open its preview, choose Use template, and review the name and fields before saving. The suggested name is Property Damage Assessment.

  2. Capture your first entry

Enter the property and location, classify the damage and extent, and record access status. Add a photo only where appropriate, then describe immediate actions and follow-up.

  3. Review and keep it useful

Review Visible Damage against the photo and original notes. Keep uncertain extent or access marked as such and use your established inspection process for further assessment.
